Patchwork Appliqué – Ghosties

These patchwork appliqués are meticulously crafted using a curated selection of high-quality fabrics. Each ghost shape is individually hand-cut to ensure a unique and artisanal finish. Designed as raw-edge appliqué pieces, each ghost features a precise stay-stitch along the perimeter to maintain the integrity of its shape. Over time, the edges may naturally fray up to the stay-stitch, which is an intentional characteristic of raw-edge appliqué. The reverse side of each ghost is reinforced with a lightweight, sheer fusible interfacing, providing additional structure and durability. The eyes are carefully top-stitched using coordinating thread colors to enhance the themed design.  Each Patchwork Applique Ghostie measures approximately 9.5 inches wide, and 12.5” tall. 

Please note that this item does not include sewing instructions for appliqué application. Additionally, the items do not contain any fusible material for ironing the appliqué onto garments. To achieve optimal results with this project, familiarity with sewing techniques and raw-edge appliqué is recommended. For guidance, numerous instructional videos are available on YouTube detailing the raw-edge appliqué process. Based on experience, these appliqués are particularly well-suited for use on sweatshirt fabrics.
