The Travel Quilt idea came from visiting quilt shops whenever I travel out of town. I like to get something to remember my trip and buying a 2.5” strip precut roll is an easy way to do that. In addition, I wanted to create a pattern where the quilt I made with my fabric strips could also be used when I travel. The Travel Quilt is perfect for covering up on a plane, in a car, train and using in the hotel. This quilt is made with 1 precut 2.5” roll (42 strips) and (1) yard of coordinated fabric.
